C2Detail Events and Concierge Services is a boutique event planning and styling company specializing in out-of-the-box, classy, stylish weddings, social occasions, and corporate and special events. We make sure that every little detail is cared for and executed. Our attention to detail and ability to organize, paired with an eye for style, gives you a taste of everything the hospitality world has to offer from concept to conception.

We cover everything from creative strategy, event concept and design, event collateral, and engagement solutions. As an innovative and experiential event design and décor company, we work with you on your chosen theme's design, development, print, and environmental application, ensuring you’re happy and confident that your objectives and concepts are realized and brought to life.

Welcome, welcome! I’m Charlene, the lead designer, and epic planning partner for your next event.

I’m a Bellwood, IL native, and I love connecting with others for their special moments, especially my community.

My 20 years of corporate, educational, non-profit, event design, and decor experience wasn’t an overnight success. I’ve taken my career seriously to help my guests create memorable moments to enjoy.

I attended Jackson State University in Jackson, MS, where I studied Marketing and Business Management. I later studied Hospitality and Tourism Management at Roosevelt University (Chicago), and I’m now a well-experienced and certified Wedding and Specials Coordinator here to accompany you on your next epic event.

  • I hired C2Detail Events for my wedding in Chicago end of September 2021. All I can say is WOW! Charlene and her team decorated my wedding even better than I could have imagined! I gave Charlene a vision and she executed it above and beyond. We met prior to the wedding to talk about what I wanted, what I was thinking, and the whole wedding day. The we stayed in contact whenever I needed it. I asked for a rustic style touches with colorful flowers. C2Detail Events decorated 3 tables, made a Chuppah for the ceremony, aisle decor, tons of fabric draping to cover walks, and dessert table. I was shocked when I walked in to the venue to see it all for the first time. It was so gorgeous and lush. Charlene brought some of her own ideas and decor and it was just absolutely perfect! Additionally C2Details provided day-of-coordination. Mary was my day of coordinator and she was amazing. She kept the schedule running on time, was so helpful, and organized. I don’t know what I would have done without her help! Lastly, C2detail’s whole team was on point day of, done on time, and so sweet! One word to sum things up: TRUST.
